A Princeton Club program for Iraq/Afghan vets -- partnered with national groups. It offers (1) transition guides; (2) mentoring by professionals. Share the info if you know candidates.


VETERANS: A TRANSITION REFRESHER+MENTORING PROGRAM
for US Military Veterans Returning from Iraq and Afghanistan to the
greater DC AREA -- THE OPEN DOORS PROGRAM

Veterans: We're getting ready to help open doors for you in 2 WAYS.
TRANSITION SESSIONS are FREE of charge, as is the MENTORING.

OPEN DOORS - Search Workshop+Mentoring for Returning Vets
A Transition Workshop using the support of Mentoring Professionals
2 EVES: Nov. 24 and Dec. 2 - Timing: 6:00 pm - 8:45 pm each session

SESSIONS are HELD in 2 different SITES, with follow-up Mentoring
after December 2nd. On Dec. 2, you will be paired with a Mentor.

After the workshops, you're teamed with a mentor for 2 months.

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
Despite the economy, this is a unique time for job hunts.  And military vets
are experiencing 3 times the rate of unemployment compared to the civilian
and government workforce. The road ahead for you -- and the key results
you want -- demand work and help, mentoring help.  Join our new "Open Doors"
program and get the advantages of our transition refresher which builds on the
support of mentors who know the hiring process in our area.
