Call for Short Film Submissions
Spring 2026 Film Screening & Discussion Event
Princeton Club of Washington, Yale Club of Washington, D.C., and Dr. Tammy L. Brown invite independent filmmakers to submit short films for an upcoming screening and discussion event planned for spring 2026.
About the Event
This film screening will feature short films (2-7 minutes) followed by a question and answer session with the filmmakers and a reception.
About the Curator
Tammy L. Brown, PhD is associate professor of history at Howard University with degrees from Harvard University (B.A., International History) and Princeton University (Ph.D., American History and African Diaspora Studies). Her work explores the intersections of art and activism. Dr. Brown is also a graduate of the Sankofa Film Institute's filmmaking immersion program.
Submission Guidelines
- Film Length: 2-7 minutes
- Format: Independent short films
- Number of Selections: At least 5 filmmakers will be featured
- Event Date: Spring 2026
- Event Format: Film screening followed by Q&A session and reception
