#MLK Day of Service at Marvin Gaye Park in Washington DC

As part of their annual community King Day of Service, Washington Parks & People will host a volunteering event on Monday, January 16 at the Marvin Gaye Park Community Greening Center, 9 AM - 2 PM; all are welcome. Projects will include Community Farm maintenance and improvements; Marvin Gaye Park trail & stream clean-up and invasive weed removal; and Riverside Center painting and upgrades. Please meet at the Marvin Gaye Greening Center at 8:45 AM, and volunteers will disperse to their project areas. All tools and gloves will be provided, and the event will happen rain or shine. It will be postponed if there is a severe winter storm.
