Some professionals will work in the same profession their whole careers. For others, economic conditions or a desire for a fresh new challenge may dictate they move into a totally new career. Certified business coach Sharon Kanovsky Richter shares 35+ years of experience in corporate and non-profit management and her personal experience on how to make a career pivot less daunting. Participants will learn who could benefit from a career pivot, steps to take to accomplish this shift and how to execute a career pivot. Sharon draws upon a wide range of solid business skills to assist in building a road map. These skills include executive leadership, financial management, business development, marketing, strategic planning, product management and product development.

Sharon Kanovsky Richter, is an executive, career and business performance coach and strategist focused on getting results. She has coached leaders in various industries, combining her 35+ years of experience in corporate and non-profit management to effectively help her clients make positive changes to improve workplace performance. Sharon has extensive experience in public accounting at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, was Deutsche Bank Asset Management Global Head of Institutional Strategic Planning, and instituted organizational change at Columbia University. She is a frequent speaker and podcast guest in the NYC community and was recently named a Verizon Comeback Coach, helping small business owners during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sharon has a B.S. in Accounting from Lehigh University and M.S, in Taxation from Temple University. She is a CPA and a Six Sigma Black Belt. In university volunteer leadership, Sharon has served as a Temple University Trustee. She currently serves as the Secretary of the NYC Chapter of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
