VIRTUAL EVENT - Discussion on Brain Health with Dr. Seemant Chaturvedi '85

Maintaining Brain Health: What is recent data telling us?

The two major conditions that can lead to loss of cognitive abilities are strokes and Alzheimer's disease. There has been extensive research in the last two decades on how to prevent stroke and prevent dementia. Much of the research shows that brain changes begin decades before the development of stroke and dementia.

Join PCW for a discussion with Dr. Seemant Chaturvedi ’85, a neurologist at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.  He will highlight advances in the prevention and treatment of stroke and dementia and discuss lifestyle factors that impact both conditions.  Read more about Dr. Chaturvedi here.
