Event: PCW Outdoor Yoga Event

Been cooped up inside too long? Behind on your fitness or wellness goals? Join PCW for an outdoor yoga class led by fellow alum Lisa Haynes '88!

This class is suitable for all levels--seasoned yogis and novices alike. Let's kick off the weekend on a positive note, improve our physical and mental health, and enjoy the beautiful DC fall weather together!

About the instructor: Lisa started doing yoga in the mid 1990s, working to improve and expand her practice with each passing year. Decades later, while in physical therapy for hip problems, she noticed that much of the therapy was variations of yoga poses. She wondered if doing yoga on a daily basis would help with her hip problems. After 4 years of seeing the benefits of a daily practice, including a vast improvement to her hip health, she decided to complete yoga teacher certification in 2018. Trained in the foundations of Hatha Yoga, she loves sharing the benefits of yoga with all types of students.
