EVENT: Teddy Roosevelt Hike & Picnic

Join fellow alums for a nature hike and picnic through Teddy Roosevelt Island!

   
We'll meet at the entrance to the island at 10:30am (by the parking lot, before crossing the bridge), walk about 2 miles on the paths that circle the island, and then have a picnic lunch at the center by the Teddy Roosevelt monument.
 
Time: Saturday, October 10th (10:30 AM)
 
Pack: Picnic lunch, comfortable shoes, water, hat, sunscreen, mask

Address: George Washington Memorial Parkway, northbound lanes between Roosevelt Bridge and Key Bridge, Arlington, VA 22209 (Located in the Potomac River between Rosslyn and Georgetown)
 
Directions: The island is a 10-15 minute walk from the Rosslyn Metro station. From the station, walk toward the Key Bridge. A short connecting trail leads downhill from the downstream side of the bridge, across the parkway, and into the parking lot at Theodore Roosevelt Island.
