Welcome to the Princeton Club of Washington - PCW Tiger Support Program

PCW Tiger Support Program

If you're looking for a way to help others, or if you need a little extra assistance or connection, please consider signing up for our Tiger Support Program.

Tigers are toughest together. In these unsettling times, we believe that our alumni network can be a natural source of support and community. To that end, we are setting up a Tiger Support Program. The idea is simple: we will help pair "lower risk" alumni with alumni who are at higher risk or otherwise in need of additional support during the pandemic. We want to help forge new connections between Tigers who might not otherwise interact, and strengthen the ties that bind the Princeton community. The desired support may be worked out between the paired alumni, but might include such things as:

Daily check-in calls;
Running errands for groceries or other needs, or assisting with arranging delivery services using apps or other means;
Talking through technical assistance issues to allow people to make the most of online connectivity resources;
Exchanging book and movie ideas;
Your imagination is the limit, although of course abiding by safe "no-contact" recommendations is paramount.
How to get involved:
If you wish to volunteer to be paired with someone who needs help, please sign up here.
If you are an alumna/us who would like to have a little support from a fellow Tiger, please sign up here.
To the extent possible, we will make matches based on geography and interests (personal and professional) — and maybe even parent/child classes!

Please contact Community Service Co-Chair Susan Strawn '84 (susanstrawn@gmail.com) with questions.
