MIT Club of DC: From the Tao to Now

The MIT Club of DC is excited to bring Kelly Wen in for an engaging talk on Taoist principles.

The MIT Club of DC will host dinner and a talk on "From the Tao to Now" by Kelly Wen. From its earliest establishment, Taoist principles have both mystified and shaped the development of Chinese medicine, culture, economics and politics. Fast forward to today, these Taoist principles that have pervaded all facets of Chinese thought for millennia seems to be lost amidst China’s second rise from a near collapse to a new world order.

"From the Tao to Now" is a journey from ancient China to today, traversing 5,000 years of China’s fascinating yet turbulent history to see what has changed, but more importantly, what has remained the same.
