Welcome to the Princeton Club of Washington - Call for Alumni Interviewers: Interview Blitzes 2020

Call for Alumni Interviewers: Interview Blitzes 2020

Become an alumni interviewer for the DC/MD/VA region and help Princeton select the class of 2024! Interview blitz dates: Feb. 1, Feb. 2, Feb. 9, and Feb. 29.

Are you looking for a great service opportunity in the DC area?

Join fellow alumni as a Princeton Alumni Schools Committee Interviewer for the 2019-2020 school year in the Washington D.C. region. Alumni help Princeton's Admissions Office by interviewing applicants and acting as ambassadors to Old Nassau. Interested volunteers, both new and returning, please let us know if you want to join our team and help Princeton select a great Class of 2024.

The Alumni Schools Committee of DC as well as the MD & VA Suburbs are hosting four alumni interview events – called Blitz interview days in the next five weeks. We need approximately 25 alumni volunteers at each event to interview approximately 75 applicants. Volunteering requires approximately 3-4 hours of your time but is also a fun Princeton experience for the alumni who attend.

How a Blitz Interview Event works:

Breakfast, lunch and guidance on the interview process are all provided on site for you. The Schools Committees manage scheduling the students, and each alum typically does three interviews. Many interviewers bring their laptops and write up interview reports during breaks. Whether you have never interviewed before or are a veteran, you will enjoy fellowship with alums and will meet an inspiring group of talented applicants.  Both undergraduate and graduate alumni are welcome and encouraged to interview.

Sign up for one or more Blitz Interview Events here:

Saturday, February 1st in Greenbelt, MD https://www.supersaas.com/schedule/Princeton_ASC_DC-MD-VA/PG_Blitz_Spring_2020

Sunday, February 2nd in Alexandria, VA

Sunday, February 9th in Herndon, VA

Saturday, February 29th in Washington, DC

When you sign in to SuperSaas, you will be prompted to log in to finalize your slot, and you will then receive a confirmation email.

If a Blitz interview session does not work for your schedule, we would still love to have you join one of our regional Alumni Schools Committee teams to interview applicants on your own schedule. Interviewing an applicant takes approximately one hour. You meet the prospective student, have a 30-minute conversation and then submit your feedback electronically through the Admissions website. It's that easy! This is a great opportunity to serve Princeton and connect to the future class of 2024.

Ready to participate?
