Ivy Singles Social Club at Jazz on Jackson Place

Join Ivy Singles for an evening of Jazz at the historic Decatur House

Bruce McBarnette '80 and the Ivy Social Club invite you to join fellow Ivy alums for an evening of jazz on Jackson Place, sponsored by the White House Historical Association.

Drummer Sanah Kadour was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.  This Lebanese-Canadian drummer plays a large role in the hot New York jazz scene.  An electrifying performer, she appears frequently with the legendary Kirk Lighstey, Philip Harper, Mark Whitfield, and countless other major figures.  She appeared recently at the Harlem Stage, Saratoga Jazz Festival, Burlington Jazz Festival, and is regularly heard at Smalls and Fat Cat in New York City.  Sanah releases her debut album, Hawk Eyes, this year.

This event includes an open bar, light hors d'oeuvres, and a tour of the historic Decatur House.

Date: Thursday, August 9

Time: 6:30pm - 8:30 pm

Location: Decatur House, 748 Jackson Place NW, Washington DC.  On Lafayette Square in front of the White House
