We have a reciprocal arrangement with the Yale Book Group, which meets in Virginia.  Their next meeting will be on:

Selection: "We will be discussing the evolution of the detective story genre. Everyone is encouraged to read 3 short detective stories by Edgar Allen Poe: Murders in the Rue Morgue, Mystery of Marie Roget, and The Purloined Letter. We are also going to read The Mystery of a Hansome Cab by Fergus Hume. We will be discussing the evolution of the genre, so in addition to those pieces, you are welcome to read/bring your knowledge of any other mystery/detective writers such as Wilkie Collins, Arthur Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, Raymond Chandler, Dashiell Hammett, Josephine Tey, or others of your personal interest."
