Please Join Your Fellow Alumni For An Afternoon Of Discussion And Discovery In This 100th Year of Jewish Life at Princeton

The Princeton Jewish Alumni Organization invites you to participate in a panel and conversation on Princeton Jewish Experiences Across The Generations with alumni from the 1950's to the present day. We’ll share recollections and uncover themes that resonate whether being Jewish was a significant part of your Princeton experience or of little importance. I've been to several versions of this event and have found it to be unfailingly poignant, informative and even inspiring, with all enriched and enlightened about what our Princeton experiences 'meant'.

We’ll gather on Sunday October 30th at 3:00 at the  Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School in Rockville MD. The event is open to all alumni, their families and Princeton parents.

Our panelists are:

  • Dr. Gerald Sandler ’57, Director, Transfusion Service and Professor of Pathology and Medicine, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital

  • Diana Savit ’73, Attorney and Expert in Special Education Law

  • Alyza Lewin ’88, Attorney, Lewin & Lewin, LLP and President, American Association of Jewish Lawyers & Jurists

  • Rachel Loeffler ’97, Head of Investment Banking - Market Solutions, S&P Global Market Intelligence

  • Richard Just ’01, Journalist and Founder, Princeton University Summer Journalism Program, will be our moderator.

The panelists will also share information about their current professional and community involvements and welcome you to discuss those with them following the program.

We hope you’ll come and contribute your impressions -- whatever they might be -- and add your unique piece to the complex mosaic of our Princeton experience.

The event is free but reservations are required. Please RSVP at http://goo.gl/ZycPFY to join us for an engaging and illuminating afternoon. We’ll provide transportation from the Metro (White Flint station on the Red Line) and offer ride-sharing.
