Ever wanted to try CrossFit? Now's your chance! PCW is teaming up with CrossFit DC to offer a FREE 1-hour introductory class!
CrossFit is a strength and conditioning fitness program that combines elements from Olympic weightlifting, sprinting, rowing, gymnastics, powerlifting, and calisthenics. It focuses on varied functional movements (push-ups, squats, and other exercises performed in different variations and with modifications depending on your fitness level) executed at a high intensity.
At CrossFit DC, a typical class consists of a dedicated group warm-up, a strength or skill session, a conditioning block and an organized cool-down.
