Volunteer opportunity - Princeton Prize in Race Relations, DC Committee

Our regional committee of the Princeton Prize in Race Relations is seeking volunteers to select our 2023 prize winner and work with us on event organization and outreach.

The DC Committee of the Princeton Prize in Race Relations welcomes volunteers from the Princeton community in the DMV to our regional committee. The Prize recognizes high school-age students who significantly engage and challenge their schools or communities to advance racial equity in order to promote respect and understanding among all people.  The winner from the region receives $1,000 cash award and participates in an annual symposium on race at Princeton University.
Here is how you can participate:
  • Help the committee read applications and select a winner(s) in early 2023.
  • Help the committee plan and execute our awards ceremony to be held in late spring 2023.
  • Support our community outreach strategy
