Black History Month Book Drive

An opportunity to contribute to a Black History Month Princeton undergraduate initiative!

Several current Princeton University undergraduate students - namely members of the Black Student Union, Black History Month Planning Committee, and Students for Education Reform (SFER) - are holding a Black History Month Book Drive to benefit school libraries in New Jersey.

The students will donate them to one of the traditional public schools that SFER works with in Newark. Their goal is to donate 100 books. Once the initial goal is surpassed, additional books will be donated to another one of SFER's partner schools, a charter school in Camden.

Please consider contributing to this effort by donating books that have illustrations of Black children, and/or be written by a Black author. All books should be appropriate for children ages 4-10.

All donations should be sent to the following address:

Black History Month Planning Committee
Book Drive
58 Prospect Ave
Princeton, NJ 08544
