SMART AND HEALTHY WOMEN: Wellness at All Ages and Stages

Regardless of your past field of study or your current occupation --  there’s a body of knowledge that will benefit you and more than 19,000+ Princeton undergrad alumnae, and thousands of grad alumnae.

The Princeton Women’s Network-DC (PWN-DC) is hosting an opportunity to find out what you need to know through ALL the life stages that women experience. Four healthcare professionals from NIH and the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center will share information vital to our physical well-being. Topics will range from women’s wellness and reproductive health to occupational health and pain management.

LOCATION: Hilton Garden Inn Bethesda, Air Rights Center, 7301 Waverly Street, Bethesda, MD 20814 

TRANSPORTATION/PARKING: Bethesda Metro (Red line), FREE weekend parking at the Waverly Garage (Montgomery Street and Waverly Street) one block from the hotel

To ensure that panelists discuss what you want to know, registrants are encouraged to submit questions in advance to Kimberly Ho Schoelen ’81 (khoschoelen@alumni.princeton.edu). Your question may be the one a fellow alumna doesn’t know to ask or might not otherwise ask at the event.


PANELISTS: Dr. Alicia Brooks Armstrong ’77, board-certified OB/GYN, Reproductive Endocrinologist, Director of Gynecologic Services and Associate Fellowship Director at the National Institutes of Health (NIH)

Dr. S. Avery Davis, Chief, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, subspecialty in Pain Management, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center

Dr. Kate Devine, board-certified OB/GYN subspecializing in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Currently senior fellow in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at NIH where her research focuses on ovarian physiology.

Celene Moorer, MS, ATP (Assistive Technology Program), Assistive Technologist, National Intrepid Center of Excellence, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center
