Welcome to the Princeton Club of Washington - Wine and Washington: Italian Art Exploration!

Wine and Washington: Italian Art Exploration!

Join us as PCW visits the National Gallery of Art to view prominent Italian works from the Early, Renaissance, and Modern periods!

Do you enjoy Italian artwork or would like to learn more about it? If so, please join us for the June edition of Wine and Washington - "Italian Art Exploration" - at the National Gallery of Art on Saturday, June 9th.

We will take two tours focused on the Gallery's Italian Art Collection. First during the Italian Renaissance Collection tour (2:30 pm), we will view works from various influential artists including Leonardo and Raphael as we explore the culture and ideals that defined Italy from the early 13th to the late 16th century.

Next, up is the tour entitled, Early Italian to Early Modern: An Introduction to the West Building Collection (3:30 pm). On this tour, we will be able to view more Early Italian and track its influence on modern art. Moreover, our second tour will feature works from Rembrandt and Monet.

Finally, we'll end the day at Cedar to enjoy $5 beer, wine, and cocktail drink specials.

We hope you will be able to participate in what promises to be an enjoyable and insightful late afternoon program!
