Welcome to the Princeton Club of Washington - PCW Speaker Series: FBI Director Robert Mueller III ’66

PCW Speaker Series: FBI Director Robert Mueller III ’66

A special PCW reception and talk featuring the 2012 Woodrow Wilson Award recipient.

Please join us on May 24 to hear and meet with FBI Director Robert Mueller III ’66.  As you may know, Director Mueller received in February the Woodrow Wilson Award at Princeton  for his distinguished public service career.  During his address to the alumni he stressed the importance of his education and experiences at Princeton, complemented by his service in the Marine Corps, for having an invaluable influence on his career in terms of leadership, humility, and service.

Director Mueller became FBI Director only a week before 9/11.  That event became a turning point in the direction the FBI had pursued from the time it began, and Director Mueller’s leadership has been the catalyst for these changes.  While his term as Director was to end last year, President Obama persuaded Congress to extend his term for two years, recognizing the need for his experience and leadership in these dangerous times.

The reception prior to Director Mueller's remarks will feature a selection of hors d'oeuvres, wine, beer, and soft drinks (included in the ticket price).
