Princeton, let’s get our “Hands on DC”!

Come help us flex our tiger muscle at the Hands on DC 17th Annual Work-A-Thon.  Hands on DC is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that organizes projects to improve the physical condition of Washington, D.C. public schools.  Princeton Club of Washington, along with other Ivy Clubs, will be participating in Hands on DC’s largest annual event this year, and we need YOU!  

During the Work-a-thon, volunteers spend the day at one of about 30 DC public schools.  Their work typically involves projects such as painting, cleaning, or landscaping.  Other projects require greater skills and resources, such as repairing bathrooms, laying carpet, building tree boxes or wiring classrooms for Internet access.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Ogo Ekwuabu (oekwuabu@alumni.princeton.edu) ASAP!  The deadline is April 17th, but we need to sign up fast!  Hands on DC is cutting off registration at 1,500 people, and they are getting close to their goal!
