Become an alumni interviewer for the DC/MD/VA region

Are you interested in interviewing prospective applicants for Princeton's Class of 2022?

Join fellow alumni as a Princeton Alumni Schools Committee Interviewer for the 2017-2018 school year in the Washington D.C. region.  Alumni help Princeton's Admissions Office by interviewing applicants.  Interested volunteers, both new and returning, please let us know if you want to join our team and help Princeton select a great Class of 2022.

High school students have two choices for applying to Princeton: Single Choice Early Action (due
Nov. 1st) or Regular Decision (due Jan. 1st).  DC area interviewers are engaged with both Early Action - interviewing through the month of November, and Regular Decision - interviewing in January and February.  If your schedule only allows you to commit to one of these timeframes we would still love to have your help.  Last year our dedicated alumni interviewed more than 1,250 applicants in the DC, MD and VA regions and we expect another record-setting pool of applicants this year.  We can really use your help, whether you can commit to interviewing 1, 3 or more applicants this year!

Interviewing an applicant takes approximately 1 hour.  You meet the prospective student, have a 30-45
minute conversation and then submit your feedback electronically through the Admissions website.  It's that easy!  We need new interviewers every year and we hope that former volunteers will interview again.  Recent graduates are welcome and both undergraduate and graduate alumni can participate.  Applicants appreciate the opportunity to personalize what can be a daunting process and share their stories beyond the confines of online applications.  This is a great opportunity to serve Princeton and connect to the future class of 2022.

The Alumni Schools Committee Chairs for our local regions are:
