ALUMNI: On June 18th, 2010 The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty
honors McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence and Director of
the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions
at Princeton University, Robert P. George
at the organization's
annual Canterbury Medal Dinner.  The dinner site: The Four Seasons

This extraordinary award recognizes courage in the defense of

for his own defense of religious freedom.

As many DC alumni may know, Robert George has championed
religious liberty and other fundamental human rights in the United
States and across the globe as a constitutional scholar as well as
a political philosopher, a member of the President’s Council on
Bioethics, and as presidential appointee to the U.S. Commission
on Civil Rights.

Prof. George joins past honorees -- Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel,
