Welcome to the Princeton Club of Washington - National Building Museum Tour

National Building Museum Tour

Please join us for a special Sunday edition of PCW's Museum Saturdays program. We will visit the National Building Museum for a special exhibit on the Architecure of an Asylum: St. Elizabeth's 1852-2017.

One of the most unique and fascinating architectural sites in Washington DC is St. Elizabeth's Psychiatric Hospital in Anacostia--originally known as the Government Hospital for the Insane. In conjunction with a major renovation going on at this historic site, the National Building Museum has created a special exhibition presenting this remarkable story of American architecture, health care, and urban development. We will take a guided tour, which includes admission to the rest of the National Building Museum's collection. Please join us for a unique glimpse at the architectural history of the Nation's Capital.

The tour begins at 1:00 pm. We will meet in the lobby at the information desk at 12:45 PM.

Date: Sunday, 17 September

Time: 1:00 pm ET
